About Me
Hi I'm Laura. I have been an Ofsted registered childminder since February 2019. I have a passion helping children develop, grow and watching them thrive at my setting.
Previous to this I worked in the retail management sector for 19 years. I am fully DBS checked and hold a current first aid certificate.
I live with my husband, 3 children who are 12, 9 and 5 months and our family dog a springer spaniel who is very friendly and loves children.
I love helping parents with their busy working lifestyle.
I offer a home from home setting, with a secure garden where children feel safe, can grow and learn.
I am passionate about healthy lifestyles and learning through play.
I live in wainscott with great links to the M2, A2 and minutes away from local country parks such as Shorne woods and Jeskins where the children love to go have fun and explore.
I also visit soft play centres, play groups, farms and local libraries.
I track children's progress and prepare them ready for school.

My Experience
I have been childminding since 2019 and have cared for a mix of ages ranging from 4 months to 4 years of age. I also have many nieces and nephews not forgetting the experience through raising my own three wonderful children.
My Qualifications
cache level 3 in preparing to work in home based childcare (which also covered safeguarding)
paediatric first aid which will be renewed every three years
DBS enhanced check for myself and my husband
Delivering the EYFS
All above certification can be viewed on request.
My Availability
Monday - Thursday 7.30 am - 6pm.
I am available through the year and will take up to 5 weeks holiday.
The school pick up I can do is from wainscott primary and little Smilers pre school.
