Hi! I’m Elia, I am a 22 years trainee Mathematics teacher. I am currently studying for my PGCE at the University of Portsmouth, meaning I am only available in the evenings or on the weekends. Some weeks I will be available Thursday and Friday after school. I’m fit and active, regularly going to the gym and playing rugby so I’m able to keep up with energetic kids! At the weekends I coach rugby tots, ranging from ages 2-7 years old.
My Experience
I have babysat for many different families with a lot of different needs throughout the years. I have experience working as a cover teacher in secondary schools and a camp leader for 3-11 year olds. I also have experience working with children with SEND. I have worked as a TA in a SEND school and worked 121 with non-verbal children and children with ASD.
My Qualifications
I have an enhanced DBS. I am currently training for a PGCE with QTS.
My Availability
As I am a student, I have some lectures throughout the week which affects my availability at certain times. I coach on Saturdays and Sundays from 8.45am-11.15am.
