My Experience
I have nannied before for children after school/nursery, as well as full time during school holidays. I worked as Preschool Coordinator at a day nursery from June 2016 - March 2018 where I planned lessons to help prepare children aged three and four years old for school, where I also worked closely with the families to ensure I wasn’t providing the best individual support. Also worked here as cover staff during school holidays from 2011 - 2015. I also have experience volunteering in Sri Lanka and Bali. I was the Deputy Leader of an after school club for 4-11 year olds, and worked as a Family Support Worker for Action for Children. I was also Learning Support Mentor at a primary school in Gloucester, where I supported children with their learning, particularly around their emotional needs. I am currently studying for a masters in psychology and have started my own birth business, and have had a baby of my own! He is 1 now, and depending on days and times I may need to bring him with me to any nannying work.
My Qualifications
Ba(Hons) in Early Childhood Studies, and CACHE Level 3 Diploma in Child Care and Education. 10 A*-C GCSE’s including English and Maths.
