About Me
Hello and welcome to the little village childcare!
Even though I am not new to childminding, this is a new location for us, we are so excited to open this beautiful rural provision which will give children the best opportunities to learn and grow.
After nearly 20 years of working in schools, nurseries, children centres and private households I’ve seen and experienced various care/educational settings which has enabled me to gain an abundance of knowledge along with my early years education degree and SENCo qualification.
Together with my sister we have created a Ofsted registered childcare setting open year round which offers a safe, secure, fun home from home environment where we can tailor each day to fit around children’s needs and give parents peace of mind that their children are happy and cared for in their absence.
I’m am forest school trained and know the importance of outdoor exploring, at the little village we are fortunate enough to have access daily to beautiful surroundings.
Each day is different and full of adventure, fun and learning opportunities.

Educated to degree standard in education. Early years specialists. Forest school trained. Qualified SENCO.
My Availability
Currently have space mon/tues/weds from September 2026 (8.30-5.00pm)
My Fees
- Childminding from £7.00 per hour
Fees are detailed in our prospectus which is available on request.

This childminder has not yet informed us whether or not they provide any drop off or pick up services at local schools.

Lizzie and Kurt have been childminding my daughter now for nearly 5 months and they truly are a fantastic couple. Nothing is too much for them and they have been incredibly flexible for me. They have made my transition back to work a breeze and relieved so many stresses a lot of parents tend to find when seeking childcare before returning to work. My little girl absolutely adores the whole family which makes dropping her off before work a lot easier! Highly recommended A+++++++++

Lizzie has nannied all three of my children from a very young age, they absolutely love her! She goes above and beyond to meet all their needs and mine! They have had so many great experiences with her. We were all worried when Lizzie stopped work to have her baby, but now so excited she is planning to childmind, my youngest will be moving straight into her care when she opens her doors!
