About Me
Hello!! I'm Lizzie, mum of three and owner of Wiggly Bugs child care.
After nearly 20 years of working in schools, nurseries, children centres and private households I’ve seen and experienced various care/educational settings which has enabled me to gain an abundance of knowledge along with my early years education degree.
We have created a Ofsted registered childcare setting which offers a safe, secure, fun home environment where I can tailor each day to fit around the children’s needs and give parents peace of mind that their children are happy in their absence.
I’m am forest school trained and know the importance of outdoor exploring, at Wiggly Bugs we are fortunate enough to have access daily to my parents farm in Westerleigh where we spend lots of time in the gardens and fields in all weathers.
We have memberships for national trust, soft-play, wild place and are always meeting up with other child minders for play dates.
The great thing about Wiggly Bugs is that we can tailor each day to suit your child, from playing and cooking at home to going to the zoo, each day is different and full of adventure, fun and learning opportunities.
All costs include all food/snack/drinks/milk (except formula). Always a main meal cooked fresh each day often using produce from the farm. All days out/groups also included in cost.

Educated to degree standard in education. Early years specialists. Forest school trained.

Only currently have availability on a Thursday currently.

Lizzie and Kurt have been childminding my daughter now for nearly 5 months and they truly are a fantastic couple. Nothing is too much for them and they have been incredibly flexible for me. They have made my transition back to work a breeze and relieved so many stresses a lot of parents tend to find when seeking childcare before returning to work. My little girl absolutely adores the whole family which makes dropping her off before work a lot easier! Highly recommended A+++++++++

Lizzie has nannied all three of my children from a very young age, they absolutely love her! She goes above and beyond to meet all their needs and mine! They have had so many great experiences with her. We were all worried when Lizzie stopped work to have her baby, but now so excited she is planning to childmind, my youngest will be moving straight into her care when she opens her doors!
