About Me
I am currently looking to start childminding again and would love to hear from you if you are looking for childcare in the next year or so.
Hi my name is Kirsty I am 37 years old and have 2 children of my own. I was a childminder in July 2019 for 3 years and have currently worked in a school as a teaching assistant and a pre school manager currently. I am a fun, outgoing, caring, reliable, loving person who offers a home from home experience. I live with my partner 2 children, my wonderful family dog and cat in a lovely, warm, cosy family home in the sundon Park area.
My setting offers a large garden space which the children have free flow of with lots of fun things to be played with, slides and trampolines for physical development, natural play is offered for them to explore and use their imagination, I also have large areas of the house where the children also have access too, I now have a lovely big play room which we converted from our garage and this now givesthe children a lovely open space to be able to enjoy all the fun toys and activities I have.
Along with all the fun things to be done at my setting we also go on some fun trips to the park, woods, local groups, soft plays, library’s,farms,zoo etc so the children get to explore lots of things on the outside world.
My Experience
I have 15 years of childcare experience I worked in a private day nursery for 7 years and worked with children from 6 months up to 8 years old. I have experience with Anything from changing nappies, to helping children wean, potty training, creative activities, key worker to 12 children. I have also had experience working in a pre school children aged 2- 4 years old and in reception in a primary school. I have 2 children of my own also.

Kirsty was the first person to look after my daughter when I went back to work. Naturally this was something I was quite anxious about but when I met Kirsty I had a feeling that she’s was going to be the fight fit for us. My daughter was at ease straight away in her home which was a good indicator.
Kirsty has taken my daughter to the zoo and the farm amongst various groups and soft plays, least to mention the park! She has done so much with her in the short time she has been there and I can tell my daughter has learned so much from being in her care. My daughter also loves her cooking and Kirsty prepares fresh meals which are balanced and healthy. My daughter is always happy when I pick her up and I know it’s because she has had a great day at Kirsty’s. I would highly recommend Kirsty for any mums out there looking for someone fun, trustworthy, and caring.

She’s caring and loving. They were doing all sort of outdoor activities together and my son is still asking about then even though he’s not there anymore. She’s very strict when it comes to payment, but I guess that’s how any business works. I highly recommend Kirsty and her family.

I've known Kirsty for some time now, and have seen her parenting her own daughter and son, and spending time with my own children-she is absolutely wonderful, so caring and kind, very reliable and an incredibly professional Childminder.
Kirsty has a wonderful home, a lovely welcoming family, and is full of great ideas to keep children entertained and to develop their learning. I would trust her 100% with mine, and if I ever needed childcare, she would be the first person I would depend on.
