About Me
Heyya I’m Cara and I have been a nanny for nearly 10 years.
I am passionate about providing the best care for babies and children of all ages. I am skilled in supporting children with additional needs including Autism and ADHD. Helping children develop in a fun way while ensuring a safe environment is my priority. I am creative, reliable, organised, flexible and patient. I am also great at cooking nutritious meals, ensuring the home is clean/tidy and clothing is washed and ironed. I have a full clean driving licence since 2017 and have my own car. I’m paediatric first aid trained, have an enhanced DBS, Ofsted registered and have completed a post-natal maternity nurse care course.
My Experience
After passing 7 GCSEs at high school I went to college and passed a level 3 Cache diploma in childcare and education. I have been caring for many children from newborn- 13 years of age since I was 16 years old and continue to do so. I have been a nanny now for nearly 10 years and absolutely love it. Many of the children i have cared for have special educational needs such as Autism and ADHD and some of the children are adopted or fostered so have very difficult backgrounds. I have been nannying a toddler for 2 years now who is awaiting the arrival of their sibling. Unfortunately my time with them is coming to an end in august. I will be their maternity nurse nanny once baby arrives until they set off on their next adventure, therefore I will gain experience as a maternity nurse nanny. I am looking for a new nanny position with a family from September 2026.
My Qualifications
-Level 3 in post-natal maternity nurse care (through OCN)
-Ofsted registered
-Level 3 Cache diploma in childcare and education.
-Paediatric first aid trained.
-7 GCSE grades C and above.
My Availability
Full time or part time from September 2026

- Babysitting from £14.00 per hour
- Nannying from £17.00 per hour (gross)
From £14.00 a hour babysitting
From £17.00 a hour Nannying

Cara has worked for us since August - I am stopping work as I want to be at home. She has been absolutely fantastic, our kids love her, she walks our dog and looks after our pets. She is so kind and caring. It will be such a shame to lose her - I hope she finds a wonderful family to work with.
