About Me
As a registered childminder I aim to provide a child minding service that allows and aims for all children to be happy, stimulated and enjoy learning through the medium of fun and play. I aim to always provide a safe, happy, home-based environment and nurture a ‘home from home’ environment for all the children. Play will be at the centre of your child’s learning and development, and a wide range of activities and experiences appropriate to the age and stage of development will be offered.
I support and promote a regular routine in the home that revolves around playtime and activities both at my home and trips out, rest times and meal times. Due to the large home we have, there is plenty of room for indoor and outdoor play and development to stimulate the wonderful world of imagination. Our vast rear garden is spacious and equipped to support play and we also have a vegetable garden for the children to grow and eat the vegetables. We also have apple trees and when ready encourage the children to see and experience these tasty treats!
My Experience
Apple Tree Tots - Rhos on Sea is set in fantastic spacious grounds and offers superb quality childcare for your child. Your child will have the opportunity to explore and have fun whilst learning through play. I am an experienced happily married mother of three wonderful children who are all successful and thriving. I currently work with children (being an approved Registered Chaperone) supporting local activities and performances for a local Theatrical School most recently chaperoning the children performing at Venue Cymru. I have previously also worked for many years within an NHS environment in Adult and Paediatrics.
My Qualifications
Alongside my academic achievements I also have attended a vast array of face-to-face and online training courses including: Level 3 Paediatric first aid, Level 2 Food Safety, Equality and Diversity-qualifications CYPOP5, Safeguarding and I am also Fully enhanced DBS Checked. I have also achieved and passed the food safety Allergen Food awareness training.
