About Me
I'm Angie, I'm 44 and I am an Ofsted registered childminder with a good grading. I have always worked within the healthcare sector. Four years ago I decided to complete training to become a childminder. Since then I have added more to my training please see my documentation. I love being around children and get great job satisfaction when I see new skills developing. I work from a log cabin in my garden. it has heating, electricity and a porta loo. it's my own little classroom which is great fun. We do weekly themes. We read every day. We play in the garden, go to the park or go for walks around the village daily. Throughout the day I will send pictures to parents to show their child is safe. Each child will also have a WOW book and in this will be things the child has achieved. I want to help your child gain the skills to be school ready. I also want your child to have fun and feel safe. This is a very loving home where my daughter (10) will play with the children at times when she is home. On a Tuesday morning we access a play group in the Featherstone area. I set up daily activities for the children but I work in a child-led manor so the children will never be made to do something they do not want to do . I am very passionate about the EYFS and keep myself up-to-date with all changes. Breakfast can be provided at request for a charge of £1. Cooked dinners will not be provided as it will take my attention away from the children. Healthy snacks will be provided. I live with my husband who works full time, daughter aged 10, and a lovely cavapoo dog of 7 (who is very child friendly) and a 11 month old cavapoo (who loves everyone) they are both up to date with their jabs. The children will not be allowed around the puppy until she has calmed down as she is a little jumpy and wants to lick everyone. Please come and join in the fun.
My Experience
I have over 20 years experience in the healthcare sector. I have worked with both adults and children, with and without disabilities. I worked within a family home with a child with autism and challenging behaviour for 7 years. The boy was 3 when I started. I have worked within the child protection team for a year but got made redundant. I also worked in residential homes for 10 years for teenagers. My last job of 7 years was a healthcare trainer, I gave learners the skills to work with elderly people within the community, administering medication, safeguarding, First Aid, confidentiality and more. I have completed my training for childminding and many more courses, all qualifications are in my documents sector to my profile. I have completed Covid training and have a covid policy in place where we follow government guidelines to ensure the safety of all children. I am also covid vaccinated.

My Availability
I only work week days from 8am to 5,00pm however if you do need different hours or days please contact me for a discussion.

My Fees
- Childminding from £5.00 per hour
9,00am-5,00pm £40 from 7.30am-5,00pm it's an extra £7
Holiday club for children over 5 years of age is £30 9,am - 4,45pm. xxxx HOLIDAY CLUB IS ONLY AVAILABLE IF I HAVE THE SPACE xxxx Children under 5 is the normal rate.

My little boy struggled with nursery, he didn't settle at all when leaving him, so we pulled him out and have kept him home for a few months. I have then decided to return to work but the thought of putting him in another nursery made the decision really difficult. So I decided to look at childminders instead and I'm so so glad I found Ange, honestly could not recommend this lovely lady enough. My little boy walks in with ease even his very first session, I feel so comfortable knowing he is with Ange, and I've been able to find work without the worry whether he will be ok. She puts my mind at ease sending me regular updates about him throughout his day, she works with me and my family so well and is so accommodating to any changes we have. Please if your looking for someone to look after your babies without the worry of if they're ok, then this is your lady. I will be keeping my little boy with her for aslong as I can before he starts school. Thank you Ange for just being all round lovely with my baby we really appreciate you.

What a lovely review. Thank you so much. Im so glad you are pleased with my service and its really important to me that you feel as ease with leaving your son with me. I do love working with children.
Ange has been an absolute godsend for me during the holidays. My son loves going 3 times a week and I know he will be disappointed when the holidays are over. Childminders are new to me but Ange has made it so easy. She is a warm, efficient, friendly and a down to earth lady and my son has adapted so well with her and her family. They have been to the park many times and do activities such as drawing, playing on the trampoline and even baked some cakes! My son comes back worn out which is perfect! Cannot recommend her enough.

Thank you Katie for this comment. We think the world of your son. Im so pleased he likes coming here.
Angela has looked after my daughter before and after school for a number of months. My daughter loves going round and even asks if she can go on days where i dont need childcare. Angela takes her to the park and in the school holidays arranges days out.
Angela even goes the extra mile by helping me out massively with my daughters homework. This is something I greatly appreciate. She has even collected my daughter when I couldnt take her to school due to illness.
Angela is a warm and frieny person who has a natural ability to make children feel welcomed and safe.
The only reason I havent put 5 stars for everything is because she doesn't provide hot meals so I couldnt comment on the food however, she does provide drinks and snacks.
