About Me
Hi! My name’s Sophia and I’m a photographer who lives in Stoke Newington with my husband (Ed - a TV producer) and our two children - a 6 year old girl and a 3 year old boy. We are looking to find a lovely local after school nanny starting the first week of September, but it would be good if we could get to know you before then with some Ad Hoc babysitting over the summer.
My Requirements
We are looking for someone wonderful to help support us with childcare. The role would be picking up our daughter from school 5 days a week at 3.30pm Mon - Friday until roughly 6pm each day. Our son is at nursery until 5.30pm, so most days you will only be looking after our daughter, but on some days you would be required to collect him from nursery too. We are after someone who is happy to oversee playdates, help with homework, plan fun activities and take our daughter to after school clubs. It would also be great if you are available for the odd evening babysitting / bedtime.
We would love to build a lasting relationship with our after school nanny - and it is our hope that they can build a real bond with our children. Ideally we’d be looking for someone who is optimistic, energetic, loves playing and is very reliable.
We would also like a nanny who is happy to help with the kids cooking, tidying their bedrooms and helping with kids laundry.
We would like someone longterm - a year or longer for the role.
