JDG has been a regular childminder/babysitter for my 12 year old boy since September. My son's behaviour can at times be very challenging, but JDG's experience coupled with her nurturing approach have meant that she has been able to provide the support and boundaries he needs to feel safe.
I have found JDG to be friendly, reliable, flexible, accommodating, experienced, generous and kind. My son instinctively liked JDG from the start and she regularly takes him out on trips, anticipating the kind of adventures he might like and planning accordingly. With JDG I am free to go out to work confident that my son is well cared for and that he is happy and going to have an enjoyable time.
More recently JDG has started minding, along with my son, two teenagers who are being fostered, so she now regularly minds three adolescents despite this not being what she originally signed up for! She readily agreed to take on these extra two at short notice and has taken all this this in her stride, embracing all three with a caring and nurturing approach. I couldn't have asked for a more supportive and understanding childminder!
I therefore have no hesitation in commending JDG to anyone looking for a caring childminder/babysitter, so long as the don't poach her off us!
