About Me

Hello, my name is Dawn and I’m an Ofsted registered childminder in the Welling area, with many years of experience. I am also a member of the Professional Association for Childcare and Early Years (PACEY).

I’m based in Welling and live in a 3 bedroom semi-detached house with my partner of 31 years who is also my assistant. Local transport links are strong, I’m only a 5 minute walk from Falconwood station and the B15 bus route runs past my house.

I have 2 adorable cats and one tortoise. They are child friendly and in the past the children have loved helping to get involved and take care of them.

I offer dedicated care and education in a warm and welcoming environment. I have a well-stocked playroom with an excellent range of toys and resources to enable your child to learn and develop in a fun and friendly way.

Indoor activities include painting, play-dough, arts and crafts, baking, story and song time. I also have a generous garden with a swings, play house and a mud kitchen; other outdoor activities include sand and water play, planting seeds and bulbs and access to a selection of bikes, scooters and balls.

Oxlea woods are on our doorstep and so offer the opportunity for additional outdoor space and a chance to spot wildlife. Other outings include farm visits, parks,playgroups and soft play areas.

My partner and I are both CRB certified/checked.
