About Me
Hi, I'm a caring, patient and reliable Ofsted registered childminder.
I live in Borough Green with my husband, 4 children and a small friendly dog. We live in a 5 bedroom semi detached house, which benefits from a separate playroom and leads straight into a secure back garden.
From my property, I work with another friendly and experienced Ofsted registered childminder, called Christine. We offer a home from home setting for children of all ages, in a happy and relaxed environment. We also have a large variety of activities and toys, inside and out, for the children to enjoy.
We regularly visit parks, farms, playgroups, soft play centres, music classes and many other places. We also create lots of masterpieces for your fridge!
By working with another childminder, we are able to give the children more adult attention, and provide great activities and learning opportunities.
There are also other benefits such as, not having to wake your child from their afternoon nap, for the school run and the possibility of covering each others holidays, instead of you having to take time off. Also together we can care for 6 children under the age of five, meaning your child can socialise with other children their own age, and make some lovely friendships.
My Experience
I have run 'Twiglets Childminding' for nearly 10 years now but before this I worked in a nursery and after school club, and previously to that I qualified as a paediatric nurse, so have a lot of valuable experience, with children of all ages.
Christine also has 16 years childcare experience, both as a childminder and a nanny, and has 3 children of her own.
My Qualifications
We have carried out an approved childminding course, have various childcare qualifications including makaton and SEN training, and are paediatric first aid trained.
I have also qualified as a paediatric nurse.

My Fees
- Childminding from £6.50 per hour
Our fees can vary depending on the age of your child and the length of time you require, so please contact us for more information.
We can offer term time only care, before and after school or full days. We also accept childcare vouchers and am able to offer the 30 hour 2 and 3/4 year old funding.
