About Me
I am a friendly, bubbly qualified teacher who adores working with children. I play piano and ukulele and often bring my musical skills into my working environment. I am also very keen on art and working with children to channel their creativity and unique talents. I have recently returned from Spain where I was working as a teacher for children with English as an additional language. I have my own little boy (13 months) and I am looking to care for other children alongside my own at my business premises - Wild Things Family Space in Ossett.
My Experience
I am a fully qualified teacher with 4 years experience working in a Montessori school in London, where I also had one year experience as Assistant headteacher. I have experience working with children with special needs.
My Qualifications
Qualified Teacher Status, Early Years Teacher Status, Childhood Studies degree (1st class honours), Foundation Diploma in Art and Design, BTEC in Film and TV Studies, 9 GCSEs including English and English Literature (B grades) and Mathematics (C grades). I also have completed courses in Safeguarding, Teaching English as a Foreign Language and Montessori studies.
My Availability
I run a family well-being centre and have recently applied to become an Ofsted registered daycare. Whilst I am waiting for my registration I am offering a crèche service for up to 2 hours per day.
