About Me
I am looking for a position that will work around dropping my son off to school starting September 2023. I am looking to work 9:30-2:30. Unless you require help if your child goes to harlands I can take my son and your child/children at the same time.
This can be flexible on some days as I can arrange collection for my own child with family!
I am 33 years old and come from a very close family. I am mummy myself to a beautiful 5 year old boy.
Any free time I have is spent with my son and family. I love being outside and love animals (I used to live on a farm). I am very outgoing and love meeting new people. I believe in positive reinforcement and keeping children focused through child led and adult led activities.
I really enjoy messy play activities and taking the children on adventures to the woods and new places. I plan trips around local areas and add learning through simple ideas eg letter hunts, using signs also shapes in the environment etc the children just think it’s fun but they learn so much along the way with out realising!
My Experience
As part of my child care course i have worked very closely with mothers and babies, primary schools, and nurseries. I have worked at a nursery for 8 years working with children aged 1 years up to 5 years.
I started as a student and worked my way up to deputy Manager. I dealt with enquiries, the curriculum and planning and mentoring staff.
I have worked with children with disabilities and special needs. I have a level 4 in child care and lot's of knowledge when it comes to children's behaviour.
I have my Early years level 4 qualification and over 15 years experience working with children. One of my positions was a full time nanny for 3 year old twins and a 5 year old. The twins were 10 months old when i started and their sister was 2, so i am used to a busy household.
I then moved on to to another set of twins and a 7 year old. My next family I looked after a sweetheart boy age 2 and a gorgeous 4 year old until they were both at school. I only left as the mum had another baby so went on maternity.
I then worked a child age 3 until he went to school. We are still extremely close and are still in contact.
Being a mummy myself, I have learnt a lot and have a great understanding of the juggles of every day life.
Looking for a position 3 days a week 9-5 so I can still take my son to harlands primary school in Haywards Heath. Happy to also do do school drop offs and pick ups from the same school!
