About Me

I am a fully registered childminder with OFSTED and I am PACEY insured
My aim is to give the best possible care for your child while you are at work, and I want you to be assured that your child is in the best possible hands, being a parent myself I know how daunting it is to leave your child in someone else’s care. I will look after your little one in a friendly, comfortable, safe and homely atmosphere.
I can look after your children while you are at work full or part-time, and I can pick up from Priory Park Playgroup, Infant and Junior School. I attend toddler groups in the mornings but are dependant on the children needs on any particular day and are sometimes missed in favour of stay and play at Poppin’s. We also do day trips to zoos, parks and local events we also visit a the library, museum and visit a local elderly people’s home once a month with some other Childminders.

20+ years Experience as a Nanny/Mothers help/Maternity Nurse/ Playgroup leader and 15 Years experience as a OFSTED Registered Childminder.

My Qualifications

Full CPD list available on request but I regularly refresh PREVENT, SEND, FIRST AID, CHILD PROTECTION and I undertake any training relevant to the children in my care.
Designated Safeguarding Lead (Child Protection) every two years
12 hour Paediatric First Aid Course Completed every three years
2003 National Extension College & OFSTED Early Years, Completed Emergency First Aid for Children Award and ICP.
1995 Gained the Emergency First Aid for Children award and Child Protection certificate.
1991 - 1994 Achieved the NNEB Diploma in Childcare.
1985 - 1990 Attained nine GCSE’s
