About Me

We are a family of one primary-age girl and two full-time working parents (a journalist and a CEO), who divide their time between home offices, some London days, and occasional overseas travel. We have a friendly Labrador and a very shy cat, plus chickens in the garden.

We're looking for an after-school nanny for our daughter, based in SG19, beginning in January. She loves art, craft, reading, bunnies, and Taylor Swift, plays violin and drums, and enjoys drama class. She's bright, funny, and easy to manage, with a good routine. She needs collecting from school, ferrying to activities, and apart from that just a bit of keeping on track and help keeping the house running smoothly! Duties are very light except when one of us is travelling: core hours are 3:30–5:30pm, Monday to Friday,though there's often (optional) extra hours and occasionally evening babysitting, when one of us is travelling. If you are happy to do light housework and/or walk the dog there's often a need for help there too.

You'd use your own car for school pick-ups and activities, and we'd need an up-to-date DBS check. The rate is flexible.

We're sadly saying goodbye to our current nanny in January, and looking for someone warm, positive, and proactive who can help keep our slightly complicated family schedule running smoothly! If you think you're sort of a fit but not sure, do get in touch - our needs are quite flexible and we can adapt somewhat for the right person.
