Registered Childminder Job In Holt
About Me
***EDIT SEPT 2023: This position has been filled***
We both work full time in Holt and live on-site at work. We work long hours 6 days a week and would like to meet anyone who has experience, is caring and kind and who would feel happy looking after our two boys from September - June term time only. They will be 1.5 and 5 years old when this position begins. A bit of context: We have been let down by childcare on Saturdays in the past so are looking for someone who could come to our home and is willing to commit and build a relationship with our boys. There is plenty of space in the house to play, a large private garden and we are near to local parks and green spaces. We also have a friendly Golden Retriever but you would not need to walk him.
We look forward to meeting you and welcoming you to our family and our home!
My Requirements
***EDIT SEPT 2023: This position has been filled***
Saturdays 8-4pm (this is essential) from Sept 2nd in independent school term time.
2/3 evenings a week 3.30-7pm.
Term time is: 2nd September 2023 to June 29th 2024 term time only (independent school term).
This can be a live in or live out position.
We do not need any help outside term time or in the summer holidays.
We are happy to provide a list of the Saturdays required.
Please get in touch if you are only interested in the Saturdays, as this is the most essential part of the position.
It is not essential that you drive (we have a bus stop outside our house and our son loves travelling on the bus to Sheringham and Cromer!) but we are happy for you to take the boys out if you are appropriately insured etc. We have a membership for Pensthorpe, Roarr and a National Trust membership that you could also use.
We would prefer a non-smoker.

I wouldn’t consider ever choosing anyone else in the local area to look after my son. Lucy is full of energy and warmth but also gives your child the most amazing experience. Our son was looked after by Lucy from 1-2yrs old 5days a week 7.30-6pm and he was always so happy with her. His development was brilliant and the tracker and diary she keeps is informative and follows the EYFS. Her Facebook page (for parents only) is also a lovely diary of pictures and videos of the week. Lots of outdoor activities, curious learning, cookie decorating, painting, dancing, numbers, songs, toys, garden games - you name it, Lucy does it. She also takes them out on brilliant trips to the zoo, the park, soft play and other local places. We had a poor experience with another childminder in the local area and I am SO glad we moved to Lucy’s - she only takes 4 children at a time as opposed to others who take 8+. This means Lucy can take everyone in her car and in her big pram! We will miss Lucy so much when our son starts at Gresham’s nursery soon - he absolutely loves Lucy (and her cat, Oreo!) and I know he will miss her a lot.
