About Me
I’m Amy and I’m an OFSTED registered childminder based in Gunthorpe, Peterborough. I am trading under the name Amy’s House Childminding. I was last inspected by ofsted in August 2021 and graded Good.
I live with my husband and 4 children, 2 boys and 2 girls aged 12,10,8 and 5. I have always loved caring for children and supporting them in reaching their potential.
I am DBS checked and hold a paediatric first aid qualification. I am ofsted registered.
I have a degree in Psychology and spent much of my time at University studying child development. This coupled with caring for my own 4 children has given me a wealth of knowledge and experience with children.
I currently drop off/ collect from William Law Primary school.
I will have some availability in July 2023 and more availability in September 2023 due to 3 long term children moving to Primary School
My Experience
I have always been around children, babysitting, helping with children’s holiday camps as a teenager. At university working in the Babylab studying child development and since leaving university caring for my own 4 children. I have been childminding for 4 years.
My Qualifications
I am DBS checked and hold a paediatric first aid qualification. I am ofsted registered. I have done a home based childcare course.
My Availability
My opening hours are 7.30-6 Monday to Friday but there is some element of flexibility within this.
