About Me

Hello, I’m Donna, I am 43 years old and I have many years experience with children. I have been a nanny for children between 8 months and 12 years. I hold a DBS and paediatric first aid certification. I have my own son who is 5 years old and two teenage step children. I am available for babysitting, emergency care and I live in Ulverston, Cumbria.

I currently work as a 1:1 teaching assistant. In between looking after children I have worked within Thames Valley Police and Cumbria police - as an police officer and then civilian resource coordinator.

I moved back to Ulverston 2017 and worked for Cumbria police until 2020.

I was a part time nanny between 2015 and 2017 for 3 boys aged 6,8,10 whilst I ran my own dog walking and house sitting business.



I was a police officer for Thames Valley police between 2011-2015.

I was a sole care nanny (including overnight when the parents worked away) for one 6 year old child, between 2009- 2011.

I was a sole care, full time nanny between 2008- 2009 for 2 children aged 8 months and 3 years.

I worked in a nursery in Surrey between 2005 and 2008 whilst studying.



I ran holiday clubs in France (for Eurocamp) between 2003 and 2005.

My Experience

I have a son and two step children aged 14 and 16.

Nannying-Sole care, Ofsted registered nanny for 4 years- boys and girls between 6 months and 7 yrs. Cooking nutritious meals from scratch, homework, early years portfolios for the younger ones, over night stays and very flexible hours. I have a full, clean licence and my own car.

Nursery work for 3 years

Running childrens clubs for 2 summers in France

Babysitiing for many families with children aged between 12 weeks and 12 years.
