My Experience

I have over 15 years of childcare experience in the UK and internationally, working with newborns, young babies, twins and children of different ages.

My maternity experience includes caring for newborns from as early as four weeks old, providing both 24-hour care during the first weeks and overnight support. I have also worked in rota positions and travelled internationally with families, including assignments in Monaco and Dubai.

My experience includes supporting feeding routines, bottle preparation and sterilisation, bathing, nappy changing, gentle settling, establishing appropriate daily routines and providing age-appropriate developmental activities. I have also supported babies through the introduction of solid foods and accompanied families to routine vaccinations and on daily walks.

My approach is calm, attentive and adaptable. I believe every baby is different, so I take time to understand their individual needs, temperament and natural rhythms. I work closely with parents to establish routines that suit their family, while providing consistent, nurturing care and respecting their parenting choices.

I understand that welcoming a newborn can be both a wonderful and an overwhelming experience. I aim to make this transition easier by being organised, dependable and attentive to the needs of both baby and parents. I value clear communication, discretion and building a trusting relationship with every family I work with.

My Qualifications

OCN Newborn Care Specialist Certificate – Level 4

Paediatric First Aid – 12 hours, Ofsted approved

DBS check – Update Service
