About Me
I work 9-5 as a project manager in the NHS. I can be flexible with my start and finish times and also work away from the office which enables me to be flexible with timings. I'm often available in the evenings and during weekends. I'm good at reading people and understanding how best to relate with them, which is great at helping me ensure that children are well behaved. I often act as a positive role model for my friends children, both male and female.
My Experience
I currently volunteer with children in care through Leeds City Council. This involves dealing with vulnerable children who have been placed in the care system.
I've always been very good at dealing with children, I grew up looking after children with my mother who ran an after-school club, and later managed a nursery. I've also done a lot of volunteering with children and also with children with special needs.
In my day job I've always been committed to helping people develop and move forwards in their careers and lives. In many volunteering roles I have done the same, including with children. At this moment in my life I am trying to save up to get on the housing ladder and so I thought it would be good to combine earning money with something I'm good at and also passionate about.
I will care for your child not just each day, but I'll also take an interest in their long term development, sharing with you any insights I discover from my time with them. Encouraging children to reach their full potential is something I really believe in.

Full first aid at work certificate.
Former Yorkshire Ambulance Service Community First Responder.
I'm looking into specific childcare related qualifications.
