About Me
I am a bubbly, energetic and caring 26 year old. Having worked as a Nursery Practitioner with children aged 0-3, and as a teacher in a Year 4 class, I love having fun and mucking in at playtime but am also comfortable with ensuring routines and rules in the house are kept to as requested by parents. Above all else, I feel there is nothing more rewarding than establishing a strong bond with both children and parents! I’m more than happy to help out with homework, preparing meals, bath and bed time and general household chores. I’m also comfortable being around pets (I have a little doggy myself)!
I am looking for regular or ad hoc babysitting or childminding work - I have availability during evenings and weekends. I am also free to help during school holidays. I hold a current and valid DBS. Hope to hear from you soon!
My Experience
I have worked in childcare for several years, first as a student teacher and then a Nursery Practitioner. I hold a Certificate of Education (Level 4) in Primary Education and love spending time with children of all ages. I have previously worked in a primary school setting as a student teacher where I led a Year 4 class, and was then predominantly based in the toddler room at a nursery (18 months - 2 and 1/2 years) but have experience working across all nursery ages. I have also worked on an ad-hoc basis in a Mother’s Help role from 2013-2017 and regularly babysit for families around the Swindon area.
