About Me
Hi, my name is Kelly from Kelly's Explorers, and I am a 43 year old, mother of 3 girls who are 21 & 13 & 10. I was previously a teaching assistant prior to having my children and decided to go into childminding to offer a trustworthy and happy learning environment for children.
I am CIW registered. I have been registered since 2019. I have had my inspection and the report is is on the CIW website for you to read. I am paediatric first aid level 3 trained, I am trained in safeguarding and food hygiene. I am leaning Welsh and in proving.
I live in Nantyglo where is have grown up all my live and people knows me. My home is a friendly and safe home setting with lots of space with a secure high fence back garden with a spacious playroom. We have off-road parking with a private driveway to securely load and unload children I have a variety of toys to keep the children entertain and stimulated.
I am also a happy married wife with a caring and sharing personality. I love my job, I love working around children, I like being indoors but I do love being outdoors, and exploring in the wildlife, parks, forest and ponds.
I have an insured nine seater vehicle.
My Experience
I have 3 children of my own so I know how children develop and their different personality are like and I have also helped out with my 2 nephews from a very young age. I Have teaching assistant experience and a very long time ago I did do some baby-sitting for some families in my local area.

Childcare learning and development level 2 and 3 and 4
Health and social care intermediate and advance.
First aid training level 3,
Safeguarding level 1 and 2 and group c
Playwork level 3
Food hygiene level 2
Basic Welsh
