About Me
Hi,
I’m Chantel, a friendly, caring and experienced nanny based in South London.
I genuinely love being a nanny and feel very lucky to have a career that I enjoy so much. I’m also a Personal Assistant, so I’m organised, reliable and used to managing busy households and busy schedules.
I have grown-up children of my own, which has given me many years of personal experience alongside my professional childcare experience. I’m naturally warm and patient, and I really enjoy getting to know each child and understanding their individual personality, needs and interests.
I find that children tend to warm to me very quickly, and I love creating a happy, relaxed environment where they feel comfortable, listened to and cared for. I enjoy getting involved in their day, whether that’s playing, reading, helping with homework, getting out and about, or simply being there to support them.
I understand how important it is for parents to have someone they can trust and rely on. I’m responsible, caring and respectful of each family’s routines and values, and I always aim to make life a little easier for the families I work with.

My Experience
I have over 6 years of professional nanny experience, following several years working in schools as a higher learning teaching assistant. Throughout my career, I have cared for children ranging from babies through to school age, and I have held a number of long-standing nanny positions where I have built strong, trusting relationships with both children and parents.
I have experience working as an international nanny and have worked with high-net-worth families, including households where multiple staff are employed. I am equally comfortable working independently and taking full responsibility for a household, or working collaboratively. I am professional, discreet, organised and understand the importance of communication and consistency within a busy family environment.
I hold a Level 3 qualification in Childcare as well as a Level 7 Personal Assistant diploma. I am also an experienced driver with a clean driving licence and no points. I am confident driving children to and from school, activities, classes, playdates and appointments or using other modes of transportation.
I am happy to take the initiative. I am proactive and able to anticipate what needs doing, whether that’s organising children’s activities/ wardrobes/ toys, keeping on top of routines, preparing nutritious meals, helping with homework or making sure everything is ready for the next part of the day.
I enjoy creating fun and engaging experiences for children. I particularly love being outdoors, exploring parks and local activities, as well as arts and crafts and creative play. I believe children thrive when they are given opportunities to learn, explore and have fun in a safe and supportive environment.
I am completely flexible and adaptable and understand that every family has different routines, expectations and needs. I am happy to fit into the way a family works while bringing my own experience, initiative and reliability to the role.
