About Me
Hi I’m Ellie! I hold a level three early years education diploma, a DBS certificate (on the update system) and level three paediatric first aid training, along with a level two in health and social care. I have been working with children for over 7 years and I have been a Nanny for 4 years.
I love working with children and watching as they grow into their own person and learn new skills. I enjoy being outdoors, going on walks, to parks and making potions or mud pies with the children I am working with!
My Experience
I have 7 years experience in childcare, completing my level 2 CYWP(children and young peoples workforce) as an apprentice and then moving on to complete my level 3 EYE ( early years education) also as an apprentice, I worked in two different nurseries over 4 years, moving my way up from apprentice to room leader! Within these roles I was lucky enough to babysit for many of the nurseries families on weekends and during some evenings.
I decided to move from nurseries to nannying in 2019, I worked for a wonderful family for two years until 2021, when I added a second amazing family into the mix. Sadly my two day per week family has moved back to America so I have availability from late June for adhoc work on a Monday and Tuesday from mid August.
I have my Enhanced DBS on the update system and believe in CPD (continued professional development), therefore I try to achieve around 20 hours a year on courses.
