About Me

CERTIFIED PRIMARY AND EARLY YEARS TEACHER WITH MASTER'S DEGREE IN PSYCHO-PEDAGOGY AND 14 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE

My name is Natalia, I am a teacher, child psychologist, and childminder with 14 years of experience and extensive qualifications based in West Kensington. Since I moved to London in 2019, I have been working part-time with a loving family, tutoring and nannying two children in Richmond. I have also been tutoring and nannying an adorable girl with special needs in Kensington since 2021. And ever since 2023 I have been teaching and nannying two lovely siblings in Ravenscourt Park. Apart from these long-term families, I have also helped numerous other families in Chelsea, Putney, Fulham, West Kensington, Hammersmith and online, with specific things for temporary jobs.

How this works is I either have a specific intervention to do with one of the children and I do that while taking care of the other siblings or I teach them for a couple of hours and I nanny before and/or after the teaching to complete the hours when the parents are not at home or I do school pick-up or teach them cooking dinner together for example,or a specific training I've been hired to help with like potty training, gentle sleep, joyful healthy eating, brave bathtime, different family transitions, etc. Combining something like that is also an option for me as I enjoy so much getting to know my students and creating a special bond that really helps with whichever intervention, tutoring, or training, and at the same time makes it easier for parents. Additionally, I tutor from home or online and teach private singing lessons to children and adults on an single hour basis.

I am originally from Spain but I have studied and worked abroad for over thirteen years now. My journey abroad began in 2011 in New York while I was at University. Then I moved to the Netherlands, where I studied for the last year of my Master's degree in Psychopedagogy. After that, I moved to the Dominican Republic where I worked as a Drama and Performing Arts teacher at an American-International school for three school years, followed by two years working at an International School in Albania as an Early Years classroom teacher.

I am passionate about Musical Theatre. Before I became a teacher I used to work in musical theatre, having performed in shows such as The Lion King, Beauty and the Beast, and Mamma Mia, among others. For a few years, I lived in countries where I could not find any performing opportunities, so in August 2019, I moved to London to try to find a balance between my teaching and my performing life and that's what I've been doing for the past 7 years.

Regarding nannying, I am fun, caring, and creative, and I enjoy very much working with children. We sing, dance, and laugh a lot. We play games that help them develop their self-management, social-emotional, and thinking skills without even realising it! Moreover, I have experience with potty training, gentle sleep, joyful healthy eating, brave bathtime, transitioning to nursery/school, and transitioning to adding a new member to the family. I do not have any pets, unfortunately, so furry friends are always a plus!
