A wonderful childminder

My daughter has been with Amanda from when she was around 11 months old. It was my first time using a Childminder and I was quite nervous about it. From day one, Amanda was very supportive and flexible with settling in, happy for me to go slowly and extend the settling time to ensure that we were both happy. We have now been with her for 3.5 years, until starting school.

Throughout this time Amanda has been consistent, reliable and loving, and my daughter has thrived.

The weeks comprise of a mix of daily outings - either local routine trips to the park/library, or further afield to Stratford or even Central London. That combined with home cooked meals and opportunities to play and learn at home or in the garden has been the perfect mix for my child who wakes every morning excited to go.

Communication with Amanda is always excellent, including evening summaries of the day and photos.

We will all be very sad to say bye and will be forever grateful for the work that she has done.
