Caring and nurturing come naturally to me, perhaps due to growing up in a household with ten siblings! This background makes me feel right at home in family settings and fuels my passion for childcare.

My Experience
For nearly a decade, I've been deeply involved in nurturing young minds through a combination of work and volunteer roles. This includes assisting in young children's groups, summer schools, and providing regular childcare and babysitting services. Currently, I spend some of my time to volunteering at my local scout cub pack, where I continue to make a positive impact.
My experience spans from caring for newborns to teenagers, and I also have some exposure to working with special needs children, including a basic understanding of Makaton.
I understand the importance of safety and assurance for parents, which is why I am First Aid qualified, hold insurance, and possess a valid DBS certificate.

I can be flexible with my availability but please be aware I have a 4 hour minimum call out charge. Thank you.

My fees are £11 p/h for one child. For an additional child it is £12.50 p/h.

Sophie babysat our 6 month old baby for the evening. She is super attentive and immediately hands on. She's also got a great sense of humour and helped us feel relaxed before going out. Sophie checked how many updates we wanted while we were out and when we got home gave us a full run down of Teddy's movements across the evening. We'd love Sophie to come back next time we go out.

We did not find Sophie through this site, but through a friend. However, we can't not leave her a review here!!
She has been looking after our (now not so) baby boy on and off for the last year. We have only lived in London for a few years and do not have much family around but Sophie now feels like part of that. She has a very caring nature and is calm and patient with him. We were nervous to leave him with someone new but she made us feel reassured and would communicate with us when my wife got worried or wanted to check in. She has helped him with his weaning and prepared foods herself and keeps him in a good routine.
A lovely, intelligent and genuinely caring girl.

Sophie came to care for my daughter as an emergency on Saturday night. Alice didn't stop talking about her the next day!! Sophie left my home clean and tidy and had even done my washing up from dinner. Alice said they had watched a film with hot chocolate, done a puzzle before bed and she had also read to her. Thank you Sophie
