About Me

I am currently in the process of registering as a childminder, working towards becoming fully qualified and independently registered. At present, I am gaining valuable hands-on experience by working alongside an already registered co-childminder, which is allowing me to develop my skills in a supportive and professional environment.

Through this role, I am building a strong understanding of child development, safeguarding, and the daily responsibilities involved in providing high-quality childcare. I am actively learning how to create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment where children can learn, grow, and feel secure.

Working closely with an experienced co-childminder has given me practical insight into planning activities, managing routines, and supporting children’s individual needs. It has also strengthened my confidence in communicating with parents and working as part of a childcare team.

I am passionate about supporting children’s development and wellbeing, and I am committed to continuing my professional development as I complete my registration process and work towards establishing my own childminding practice in the future.
