I am a happy, well organised, bubbly person and have a very caring nature.
I enjoy getting outside as much as possible doing various activities and equally enjoy activities indoors.
Through my time as a teaching assistant I believe I learnt how to discipline children correctly but still have a sense of fun and care. I feel I can maintain a good, strong bond with children and also with parents/careers.
My Experience
Since September 2023 I had a full time nanny role for 3 children but mainly caring for a little girl with special needs until she started school (September 2025) we went to lots of groups and physio appointments. My main duties now include school runs, meal times, help with homework, occasional bath and bedtime, activities during the holidays as well as general help around the house. I am currently now part time after having my own baby girl in November 2024.
From September 2019 - September 2023 I was a full time nanny for 2 children (G9-12 B7-10) 2 dogs and 8 ducks.
From September 2014 to September 2019 I worked as a teaching assistant at Midhurst Primary School. I worked with the year groups of Reception, three, four and five on all aspects of the school day. I have taught phonics (Read, Write Inc) for four of those years doing one on one sessions with children who required additional support. During this time I also looked after 2 children for an hour 2 days a week making breakfast, helping with homework and taking them to school.
In College I achieved an NVQ level 2 in childcare which included work experience at Caring Day Care nursery where I helped with toddlers by making lunch, putting them down for naps and their day to day activities and also at Midhurst Primary School, where I was offered a permanent role when I finished college.
My Qualifications
Passed my core GCSE’s.
NVQ level 2 Childcare - grade B
First aid trained - with additional training of a defibrillator
Autoinjector (EpiPen) trained
Trained to use a diabetic kit with insulin
I have been on child safeguarding courses
