Looking for immediate staff to join our growing team to provide 24 hour care for our little boy and 2.1 during day shifts. We currently have a private team of 6. He is 10 and has quadriplegic cerebral palsy and many other diagnosis.
Our son is a bubbly young man with an infectious laugh and adorable smile.
Our son is wheelchairs bound but we try our best to keep him as active as possible. He really enjoys swimming, walking and riding an adapted bike.
We implement a lot of programmes to make his life as fun as we can, we are teaching him to communicate using his eyes via an eye gaze system.

We are looking for someone to work 3 night (34 hours a week 11.5hour shifts ) additional shifts are available to cover sickness and holidays.
An additional person to work between 2-3 days a week (8.5 hour shifts minimum hopefully increase to 10 hours) 25.5 hours rotating on a 7 day week rota.
We require flexible and reliable staff to work on a 2 to 1 basis in our fully adapted home in Sketty.
FULL TRAINING WILL BE PROVIDED, AS LONG AS YOUR WILLING AND KEEN TO LEARN.
The rota will rotate on a weekly basis to ensure all staff work a variety of days.
Days are split in 2 shifts either 9:00-18:00 / 12:00- 20:30.
Night shifts are 21:00-08:30. We have 4 sleep in nights where you assist of current community nurses to manual handle and administer medication. Then awake nights where you work alone and are required to stay awake all night.
Our son is very complex needs, especially medically.
Your duties will include-
Administration of medication
Implementation of daily physio programmes
Oral motor therapy
Communication (eye gaze)
