About Me
I am a qualified teacher and experienced tutor, available for online or face to face tutoring. I am passionate about helping children and young people to learn and achieve their goals.
I am a qualified teacher and have experience teaching children and young people from 2-16 years old. I have taught in person and online, privately and in school and nursery settings. I also have a wealth of childcare experience including working as a nanny and babysitting.
My Experience
Primary school teacher - I have worked as a class teacher in an outstanding primary school for 4 years. This includes planning lessons to cover all areas of the national curriculum for the 30 children in my class.
Secondary school teaching assistant - I have experience as a secondary school teaching assistant working with children with SEND and EAL. I also provided 1:1 tuition in English and maths for some pupils.
Nursery worker - I have 3 years experience working on supply for a nursery with children aged 6 months to 4 years. This included planning activities within the EYFS framework.
Qualifications:
- Post Graduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) with Qualified Teacher Status
- Achieved 1st Class with Honours in my physics degree.
- 3 A* at A level, including maths and physics
- 11 A-A* grades at GCSE, including maths (A*), English(A) and 3 sciences (A*)

Paediatric first aid course - April 2019.

I am currently available on Tuesdays and Thursday afternoons.
