About Me
I am a mother to my son who is three years old and have become a registered childminder with Ofsted from December 2021. My previous history in jobs has been working with young people aged 12-18 in a care home, i worked there for up to four years. Previous to that i worked in a Nursery where i learnt the early years curriculum. I also am the second oldest of seven siblings, so i am very used to a busy house!
My setting is fun and friendly there are lots of opportunity’s to explore, I have planned weeks of different themes and special days of the week and will teach this through messy play, reading, songs, going outside etc. There is a park across the road and we have memberships to Woodside animal farm which we aim to attend every week.
The children have meals provided by myself these are all healthy balanced meals with snacks in between, we also get the children involved in making the meals and learning about different foods.
My Experience
I have a Baby of my own, previously worked in a young peoples care home with 12-19 year olds. Also worked in a nursey and Babysitted for a number of different families for around eight years.

Level three in Uniformed public services
Level Three NVQ in Residential care
My Availability
Open Monday to Friday 08:30 till 17:30
I am fully booked at the moment. Full time spaces available from September 2024.
I’m afraid I don’t do pick ups and drop offs at the children's home at this time.

My Fees
- Childminding from £6.00 per hour
Will discuss fees when in touch.
I offer 15/30 hour free childcare funded by the Government and take tax free childcare.
Meals, snacks, nappies and wipes included.

Shauna has been looking after our 6 year old 3 days a week for nearly a whole year now. She has been nothing short of amazing. Just today I dropped our daughter at hers just because she wanted to be with Shauna, that just goes to show the relationship my daughter has with her. We couldn’t have asked for a better child minder. Shauna has a safe and friendly environment and its nice to see more and more children being looked after her.
