About Me
My name is Laura. I am 28. I moved to Inverurie four years ago from Ireland. I have a university degree in Early Years and Childhood Studies since 2016 and I have recently completed my Primary PGDE. I teach five days a week during term time. I have paediatric first aid, PVG along with an extensive list of other training.
I love working with children and I am happy to help out with babysitting duties or tutoring for primary school children.
My Experience
I have worked in a nursery with children from six months up to seven years old. I have been a classroom assistant in a primary school for the two youngest age groups. I taught 4-8 year old children in an international school in an Abu Dhabi over the course of two years. I have a lot of babysitting experience from neighbors and family. I worked as a live in nanny for 6 months also which I thoroughly enjoyed. As well as all of this, I spent two summers in New Jersey working at a disadvantaged summer camp which children from the age of four up to fifteen. I have worked in a private nursery in Inverurie for two years and then a school nursery in Aberdeen. I am now a qualified primary school teacher.
I believe all of this experience has made me a very capable childcare professional.
My Qualifications
I have studied Early Years and Childhood Studies for three years at University College Cork Ireland as well as my Primary PGDE in Aberdeen University.
My Availability

My Fees
- Babysitting from £10.00 per hour
I am flexible with fees but due to experience and qualifications, I would expect a competitive rate. This rate would also be dependent on duties expected and the number of children.
