My Experience

Almost 10 years experience looking after newborn - 9 year olds.

My current job I have been a live-out nanny for a family for 4 years looking after their two sons. My eldest son and their youngest are now at school which is why I am now looking for a new position. I took my eldest with me when he was 9m and my youngest charge just turned 1, the boys have grown up together over the last 4 years and are now like brothers.

I am hoping to find a new position with a baby or a toddler a similar age to my 2 year old so they can build a bond and a relationship the same way I have watched my eldest and charge do at my previous job. I’ve seen the benefits of two babies growing up together and I’d love a new family to be open to a nanny with own child if it is something they perhaps hadn’t considered before.

I have worked 3 days a week and helped them with potty training, school runs, day trips with other local nanny's, and taken the boys to playgroups etc.

An advantage I have is that I will certainly see situations from a mothers perspective and I will be able to help encourage additional social skills such as, sharing, emotional confidence, physical activities etc.

To add, I have a double buggy and isofix car seats with rear facing.
