About Me
I am a final year student at Swansea University so am available around my studies. I will be studying at Durham next year to obtain my PGCE Primary qualification to become a primary school teacher. I am available for a range of times depending on the day (around my studies) but can still be quite flexible with this. I am sporty, creative, compassionate and patient.
I am very determined to provide the best childcare services, always pushing myself above and beyond to ensure this. I have a passion for working with children, as I think there’s a lot to learn from them.
My Experience
I have many years experience of working with children in a range of fields. Most recently, I completed a Year Abroad teaching English in a Spanish Primary School.
During summer holidays, I manage a childcare day camp responsible for up to 40 children. This has helped me with organising activities that are stimulating, engaging, challenging and of course enjoyable for the children.
I have also worked privately offering babysitting/childcare services for families. Additionally, I have volunteered at my local church previously at its Kids Club, an outreach program to provide a weekly safe haven to children.
My Qualifications
I have Emergency and Full Paediatric First Aid Training, have completed Safeguarding Courses), obtained a Prevent Duty, and have recently completed a course in Understanding Autism.
I am currently studying Spanish at University and am aiming to start my PGCE next year.
I took A Levels in Sociology, English Literature, and Spanish.
