About Me
My name is Emel Thorley, and I have over 15 years’ experience working in childcare.
I am fully qualified, having completed my Paediatric First Aid and Childminding courses, and I am Ofsted registered with a GOOD grading.
I hold a full driving licence and have a 7-seat vehicle. I have been driving for almost 20 years, which allows me to safely transport children to activities and outings.
I am married and have four children aged 10, 8, 4, and 2 years, giving me extensive and up-to-date experience caring for children of all ages on a daily basis. My husband is in the army and is currently based away from home.
I live in a spacious four-bedroom house with a large, secure back garden. I regularly attend baby and toddler groups, ensuring the children have frequent opportunities to socialise and develop their confidence.
Caring for children comes naturally to me, and with four young children of my own, it is something I genuinely enjoy and take great pride in.
My Experience
Over 10 years experience. Come from a very big family. Always babysitting from age 18. However I think the best experience I have had is having my own children.
I also owned my own business for 7 years, with that comes knowing how to be professional and organised.

I recently had the pleasure of working with Emel as my childminder, and I can honestly say that it was an excellent experience. Emel was incredibly attentive, caring, and nurturing towards my child, and always went above and beyond to ensure that they were happy, healthy, and safe while in her care.
From the very beginning, it was clear that Emel had a genuine love for children, and that she took her responsibility as a childminder very seriously. She is reliable, and communicative, and made sure to keep me updated on my child's progress and well-being throughout the day.
What I appreciated most about Emel was her creativity and resourcefulness when it came to engaging my child in fun and educational activities. Whether it was through games, songs, crafts, or outdoor play, she always found ways to keep my child entertained and stimulated, and helped them to develop important skills and confidence.
Overall, I would highly recommend Emel to anyone looking for a caring, responsible, and experienced childminder. She truly exceeded my expectations in every way, and I feel lucky to have had her as a part of my child's life.

My child who is 3 years old has attended Emels setting for the past year! I am so greatful for her care! She is loving and she's my son all the attention he needs. She also provides home cooked food and a very healthy diet. She does alot of learning activities with him as well as outdoor activities and groups which has really helped his social needs. Couldn't ask for more!
She is always updating me on what he has eaten and done through out the day! My son loves her and misses her when he is not with her which to me means the world as I know he is well looked after In her care.
