About Me
I am currently a primary school teacher with a first class degree in human geography with sociology and a pgce. I particularly enjoy tutoring as I feel the children benefit greatly from 1:1 support where lessons can be tailored to suit them helping them to make fantastic progress.
My Experience
I have been teaching in a primary school classroom for 7 years and have been tutoring children from Reception to GCSE for 11 years.
Alongside tutoring, I have marked 11+ mock papers and helped created some 11+ mock tests. I am restarting my own Homely Tutoring following having my 2 children and am looking forward to supporting where I can.
My Qualifications
I have completed my primary pgce as well as a first class degree in human geography with sociology. Prior to this I completed a levels in sociology, geography and maths. Whilst teaching I have completed a maths course and a number of courses on supporting children with mental health needs, autism, children in care etc. Please feel free to ask if you would like further details as to the courses I have completed.
My Availability
I am available Monday to Wednesday 9am - 2.45pm from January 2024.

My Fees
- Tutoring from £25.00 per hour
Primary 1:1 tutoring £25 an hour,
GCSE 1:1 tutoring £30 an hour.
Group rates at a discounted price per child.
