About Me

Hi all,

I am currently avaliable for babysitting/emergency babysitting in the evenings or weekends. I have several years experience working as a nanny, support worker and learning support assistant from birth onwards.

I have I currently have 16 years experience working with children with additional needs and disabilities, these include children with autism, global delay, ADHD, growth disorders and moebuis syndrome.

I have spent 4 years as a SEN nanny, providing care and helping develop independence for the children I worked with.
During this i have experienced how to manage children with challenging behaviour and am aware of basic makaton. I know how to use PECS. I am trained and able to feed and provide gastronomy feeding, as well as other personal care needs. This has been in various different work placements, i have worked within a school as a 1:1 and done overnight respite care for children with additional needs. including trios out, development of independence and interaction with others.

I enjoy thinking of creative ways to encourage play and ensure each child has the best opportunities, including but not limited to adapting the curriculum so that it is accessible for all children. I have experience creating social stories and activities to slowly transition children into new settings. 


I would like to help a young person fulfill their life to the best and provide evening or weekend care to ensure a young person can access all different opportunities and enjoy themselves.
