About Me
My name is Sophie and I am an ofsted registered childminder with over 15 years experience in childcare and management. I have a variety of qualifications ranging from paediatric first aid to a BA Hons in Early Childhood Education.
I live in a quiet little village just outside Truro with my Husband Alan and son Brandon who is 19, who are both very keen sportsmen. Our property has a fully enclosed safe garden which I believe is important to promote active lifestyles.
I encourage children to be involved with the growing of our own fruit and vegetables which they will help to prepare for snack times.
My Experience
Over the past 15 years I have worked in day nurseries gaining a high standard of experience and also working my way up the ladder to become a nursery manager.
I have experience working on a one to one basis with children with special needs. I love the outdoor area and have a real passion for sensory and heuristic play.
Throughout this time I have obtained both my foundation degree and BA Hons in early childhood education, I decided it was time for a new challenge, I love teaching and watching children learn, childminding combines both.

Weekday - Mon-Fri - £5.25 an hour
Full day - 8-6pm £47.50
