About Me
My name is Alex Bolton Humphrey and I live with my husband & our 3 children and a very friendly dog & cat, in Orpington, close to Chelsfield & Orpington station.
I am Ofsted registered and I offer all children a caring, relaxed & secure, home from home environment.
There is plenty of space & opportunity for children to have fun at my setting not only inside but also in our very large garden. We have a trampoline (safety netted), slide, sandpit and many outdoor toys for children to use. On cold or rainy days there are lots of indoor fun activities such as play doh, arts & crafts, baking, dress-up and role play resources for children to choose from. We often visit play groups throughout the week and are lucky to live close by to a park and playground of which we also make regular outings to.
(I follow the EYFS guidelines and provide activities that follow the 7 key areas of learning & development)
My Experience
I have 3 children of my own aged 15, 13 & 7 years old. I have many previous years experience as a nanny / mothers help.
I also use to run a baby & toddlers music & movement class in Petts Wood.
My Qualifications
CYPOP5 Childminding course approved by Ofsted and provided by Bromley local authorities.
Paediatric first aid trained
Safeguarding level 2
CACHE Level 3 in Childcare & Education
CBT Level 5
