About Me
My name is Kirsty Morrison and I am a registered childminder and a member of the Scottish Childminding Association (SCMA). I live in Denny with my husband Andrew and our children, Sarah, who was born in November 2003 and Matthew, who was born in May 2007.
I became a childminder after being made redundant from banking and decided to do something for myself…something I would enjoy….something I always wanted to do. I offer a service to families who would like their children to be cared for in a kind, playful, safe and homely environment.
Our family home is detached and I use the downstairs area which has patio doors leading to an enclosed back garden. We also have playroom. Our house is non-smoking. We have 2 dogs, Bebe and Cody who are very much part of our family; both are retrievers and very friendly.
I am available to drop off/pick up to and from local nurseries and schools.
My Experience
I currently look after various ages of children ranging from babies to teenagers. Our weeks are filled with walks, activities, days out, fun and educational play in my playroom which is set up to cater for activities like this.
My Qualifications
My qualifications mainly relate to my previous profession of banking and IT.
My Availability
8am till 5pm but can be flexible. I have places available throughout the week.

My two children love going to Kirsty before and after school, she is very enthusiastic about her job and always has a great set up for both my children’s ages. She does everything possible to make my children feel welcome and happy when they arrive. Kirsty’s house is lovely, the whole family is friendly and great with the kids too and the dogs are so gentle and friendly and my girls love them. Kirsty’s play room and garden is set up beautifully to suit a variety of ages with plenty of things to do and play with. Kirsty is so kind and loving towards my children and they absolutely love going. I would highly recommend Kirsty as a childminder.

My daughter has loved kirsty from the very first meeting, and would stay with her all evening, if we would let her. She comes home full of tales, about what they've been up to, and looks forward to seeing kirsty again. She enjoys spending time with kirsty, and her family, and has tonnes of fun, whither it is during her afterschool hours, or on her all day visits. I would be very happy to recommend kirsty as a childminder.
