About Me
UPDATE as of 27/11/25: I am currently looking for part time after school nannying 2 afternoons a week. Please get in touch if you need help with after school pick ups. Immediate start available.
I am also looking for ad-hoc evening babysitting work, if you want to go out for date nights/events etc.
I am a hardworking, caring and patient individual, with over 15 years experience looking after children. I have worked for a number of families in Leighton Buzzard and surrounding areas on an ad-hoc basis.
I am a professional home declutterer and organiser. My strengths lie in creativity, I enjoy doing arts and crafts/games/baking/dancing and singing with children.
My Experience
I have many years of nannying experience for children ages 1-14. I worked in a nursery for a few years, caring for children aged 6 months-5 years.
I am used to helping with school pick ups, homework, bath time, dinner, playing and getting children ready for bed. In the holidays I have also taken children out for the day/planned activities at home.
The two best qualities a nanny can have are patience and adaptability when working with kids, skills I have developed over my years of nannying. Working with children is incredibly enjoyable, because they have a sense of magic and play that I think we start to lose as adults.
I am happy to look after up to two children.
I am fine with dogs/cats/other pets.
My Qualifications
I have a dance degree from the University of Surrey.
My Availability

My Fees
- Babysitting from £13.00 per hour
- Nannying from £15.00 per hour (gross)
I charge £15ph for nannying, during the day care, weekend, holiday and after school pick ups if the child will be mostly awake. I charge £13ph for babysitting if I am putting the child to sleep/being there in the evening whilst they are asleep.

Sophie has been a fantastic childminder for our son who's autistic and nonverbal. She's very diligent, trustworthy, methodical, and friendly. She works around our son's interests when planning days out with him. We are very pleased to have Sophie as our son's childminder.

Sophie has looked after our little one on a number of occasions now and every time she’s been absolutely fantastic. Ruby is always very happy to see Sophie and loves playing games with her. Sophie also does brilliant drawing, songs and dancing with Ruby too. We’re very happy to have found Sophie!

Sophie has been babysitting our 1 year old on an ad-hoc basis since she was about 9 months old. Sophie has been confident, caring and fun with our daughter from the start, meaning that we have been able to leave our child in her care and not worry. We would highly recommend her.

Sophie has been looking after our son (aged 3.5 now) on ad-hoc basis for over a year now. She managed to establish a great relationship from first day and we never had trouble leaving him with Sophie.
Sophie is not just an amazing babysitter with very creative and arts background but also very responsable, trustworthy and caring. She never turned up late or cancelled any planned appointments ever.

We highly recommend Sophie! Sophie has been babysitting our 2 year old daughter Eloise on an adhoc basis for over a year and we could not be happier. Eloise adores Sophie and loves the care and attention she receives. Sophie has helped with nursery pick ups, dinner times, bathing, and playtime, while also taking care of our two dogs. Sophie has been providing ad hoc babysitting including school pick ups, dinner times and bedtimes for my children aged 5 and 3 over the last year. She communicates brilliantly with children, is playful, creative and attentive. Her contact with me is punctual and clear, we are absolutely delighted we found her!

Sophie is looking after our little boy on occasional basis. She does school pick up, and she is brilliant with little one. Feeds him, does homeworks and she goes above and beyond whats her duties while she sits for us. I'm very glad I was able to find her.

Sophie has been doing some ad-hoc babysitting for my son (now 18 months) for the last couple of months. Sophie is punctual, easy going, communicative and attentive. She is clearly very comfortable and confident around children and is happy to adapt to whatever routine we have in place at the time. Most importantly my son loved her from day 1! We couldn't believe it when we got home from our first night out to find him asleep in bed. We fully anticipated chaos! Not with Sophie... Would happily recommend Sophie to anyone looking for a babysitter!
