My Experience

I am a Primary school teacher and have a genuine passion and love of learning. I am committed, friendly and enthusiastic and available for 1:1 or small group tutoring for children Year 1 - 6 as well as Biology at GCSE level.
My time in various primary schools has not only taught me how different children engage with learning, but also how much I love developing a child and helping them to succeed. In my time in different learning settings I have worked with children of a range of abilities as well as children with special educational needs, consistently challenging and developing them all. I truly believe that all children have the capacity to reach their full potential in education provided they are sufficiently supported, and learning is tailored to their needs. I have developed an awareness of children’s specific needs and areas for development and thoroughly enjoy tailoring learning to those needs. These skills coupled with my knowledge and understanding of how children learn and how to support them in their learning journey makes me an ideal candidate for tutoring. My training, skills and knowledge are up to date and I hold a DBS certificate that can be presented if required.
I have taught across primary age groups to children of all abilities including children with SEND, and I have tutored previously during my own A-Levels and degree studies.

My Qualifications

A-Level Maths, English and Biology.
1st class honours degree in Primary Education
