About Me
Hi, my name is Tina. I am a mum of four and an Ofsted-registered childminder based in St Albans. I have many years of experience caring for children from newborns to teenagers, and I genuinely love helping children learn, grow and develop at their own pace.
My setting offers a warm, home-from-home environment where children feel safe, valued and comfortable. Although my home is fully equipped with a wide range of resources for young children to learn, play and explore, it is also a calm, nurturing space designed to help them settle quickly.
I follow the EYFS framework, supporting each child’s individual learning through purposeful play, sensory experiences, crafts, messy play, story time, outdoor learning and everyday routines. Children enjoy a mixture of structured activities and free-flow play, helping them build confidence, communication skills and independence.
We go out every day to parks, playgroups, nature walks, farms and local community spaces. We also meet regularly with other childminders so the children can socialise, build friendships and experience a wide range of environments beyond my setting.
I believe in strong communication with parents and provide regular updates so you always feel connected to your child's day.

My Experience
My experience ranges from newborns to teenagers, and as a mum of four children aged 2 to 14, I bring both professional and personal understanding to my childcare approach. I have previously worked in nursery settings and in partnership with other childminders, giving me a well-rounded background in early years care. I work confidently within the EYFS framework and am committed to helping each child learn, grow and reach their full potential.

My son has been with Tina for only a few weeks but already so happy with his settlement into Tina & her trusted crew. I was always looking for a motherlike feel - somone I know can give my son the same love a mother can and that’s certain what he got!

I don’t know where to start!
We haven’t just gained a childminder, we’ve gained a friend too.
Our child has been coming to Tina and her crew for a year now and they’ve always made us feel like family. They always treat the children like their own! They are so loving and always have open arms. Tina’s home gives a lovely warmth and cosy feel which helps my son settle well.
Since being at the setting we have found our son has progressed so much. He’s much more confident, relaxed, talking a lot, has learnt lots of new skills and generally more happy! He is also eating lots of new types of food which he would normally refuse at home. They also give lots of healthy snacks through out the day which he loves.
The team are great with special requirements, after letting them know about our son’s needs they were there to help right from the start.
Every time we pick up our son he is always smiling and often comes home with handmade pictures and decorations!
I cannot thank the team enough for sending updates/photographs throughout the day, it makes us so happy to see how much fun he is having, especially when they go on days out to the farm etc!
We wouldn’t trust anyone else to look after our son.
We feel so blessed to have such an amazing childminder and team ♥️

As first time parents we were apprehensive about our daughter going into childcare but from her first day with Tina and her team we knew we had made the right decision! Tina put as at ease straight away and it was clear our daughter loved being there when we picked her up at the end of her first day. Tina is so friendly and caring and you can see how much she adores the children. We feel very lucky that Tina and her team look after our daughter and we know we don’t have to worry at all whilst she is there!

Tina has been so much more than a childminder to Aria, she has been a huge and very special part of her early years. From the very beginning, it was clear how deeply Tina cared, not just for Aria’s safety and routine, but for her happiness, confidence and emotional wellbeing too.
Aria was loved, nurtured and understood every single day in Tina’s care. She was treated with such patience, warmth and genuine affection, and it showed in everything, from how excited Aria was to see Tina, to how settled and content she always was when she came home. Tina created a calm, loving environment where Aria felt completely secure, free to be herself and encouraged to grow.
The bond between them is truly beautiful. Aria absolutely adores Tina, and that kind of love can’t be taught or forced, it comes from trust, kindness and consistency. Knowing how safe, happy and cherished Aria was made all the difference to us as parents, and we will always be incredibly grateful for that peace of mind.
Tina will forever hold a very special place in our hearts and in Aria’s childhood. We couldn’t have asked for anyone more loving, caring or dedicated, and we feel so lucky to have had her as part of our family’s journey.

I’m really pleased with the care my daughter receives from Tina and her team. Her environment is loving, safe and well-structured. The days are packed with fun activities and my daughter always seems happy and confident after a day with Tina. I would confidently recommend Tina.

I have a 2yr old and 1yr who have been taken care of by Tina and her care, communication, warmth is amazing. By boys absolutely love their time with Tina and I have always been made to feel at ease with the entire process from initial visit, settle sessions and ongoing care. So well equipped in her lovely family home and huge garden. Would recommend to anyone!

Our daughter has only just started with Tina and like any parents both my husband and I were quite nervous at first. From day one she put us completely at ease. Tina has been amazing with our daughter and it’s clear how caring and attentive she is. Tina offers a lovely variety of activities and always communicates well which we really appreciate. We already feel so confident leaving our daughter in Tina’s care.

My son has attended Tina’s for nearly a year now and we couldn’t be happier with how he is developing but more importantly how happy and settled he is there. It’s like a real home from home to him. He is excited to attend and always comes home talking about the fun activities he has taken part in.

We honestly could not ask for a better childminder than Tina and her brilliant team. Our little one has been with Tina since he was 9 months old and is now 2 and absolutely thriving.
From day one, he has been loved, understood, encouraged and genuinely cared for. Tina and her assistants create the perfect balance of warmth, structure and fun. The setting is calm, safe, stimulating and clearly designed with children at the heart of it.
Every day is packed with enriching, play-based learning. There are constant activities, crafts, outdoor play and regular trips out, all thoughtfully planned and age-appropriate. You can tell how much effort goes into making each day exciting and meaningful.
The biggest endorsement? Our toddler adores Tina and her team. Every morning he’s excited, shoes on, bag ready, shouting “let’s go!” at the door.
Communication is excellent. We’re always kept up to date, know what he’s been doing, how he’s feeling and what he’s learning. Tina is approachable, professional and incredibly experienced, which gives us total peace of mind.
If you’re looking for a childminder who treats your child like one of their own, provides a nurturing environment, and helps them grow in confidence, independence and joy, you honestly won’t find better than Tina and her team. We feel so lucky to have found them.
