About Me
I have worked for over twenty years in accounts and after having my daughter who is now 4 I decided to have a change of career and become a childminder. Watching my daughter grow and develop has been so enjoyable childminding was a great pathway to continue this full time and also learn new skills I have been childminding for almost 2 years and am loving it. I have a GOOD Ofsted grade and just completed my NVC level 3 in Young people and children development. We attend different playgroup so the children can socialize and build up social and personal skills. We have a monthly theme that I follow and I use this to include all the EYFS areas. I also include other activities such as cooking, arts and craft, singing and dance, stories, outings, movement and play. I use a daily diary to keep parents and myself up to date with the development of the child and a journal to record the development. I carry out a quarterly parents meeting to chat about progress.
In my spare time I enjoy home cooking using a high proportion of organic foods and this will be filtered into my childminding.
I have been married for 15 years and as a family we enjoy eating out, being outdoors, socailising with friends and family.
