About Me

I am a qualified HLTA and GTA. I have 28 years experience working in Primary schools in all year groups from Reception to Year 6. I have supported children with English, Maths, Phonics, Reading and other primary school subjects. I live in Church Fenton

My Experience

I work with children on a 1:1 basis, in small groups and I have taught whole classes when needed. I am qualified to teach and help children with Dyslexia. I have a qualification in Drawing and Talking Therapy which supports children with emotional difficulties.
I have worked with children and organised Lego Therapy groups.
I have been an active Private Tutor for 4 years.

My Qualifications

Qualified to higher level teaching assistant
Trained in SEN , SpLD (dyslexia), child counselling, child protection, first aid and enhanced DBS checked. I have worked with children with a variety of needs including Cerebral Palsy, Autism and Global Development Delay
