About Me

Hello my name is Claire, and I am an Ofsted Registered Childminder based in Haverhill (with my most recent inspection in June 2022 graded as Outstanding.)

I offer a nurturing family orientated "home from home" environment that's warm, trustworthy, welcoming and stimulating for every child in my care to grow and thrive in. And in preparation for school readiness.

We have indoor and outdoor play every day and use close local amenities such as the Town, library, splash park, and play parks including East Town Park.
I also do regular extra curriculum trips to farms, zoos, museums, seaside, toddler groups and much more.

I follow the Early Years Foundation Stage within my curriculum and use Tapestry platform to do regular developmental assessments.

My Experience

I have around 28 years experience of working with in the Early years sector. Before I decided to become a childminder I was a Deputy Manager of a Pre-school for around 6 years and also worked in nursery environment that involved after school & holiday club, and a charity based children's centre.
