About Me
I currently work three days a week as a Dental Therapist, where I provide dental care for children. I’ve discovered that working with children brings me genuine joy, and I’m hoping to spend my remaining days each week doing something that feels equally meaningful, caring for children as a nanny.
In my dental role, I’ve developed strong communication skills, patience, and a calm, friendly approach that helps even the most anxious children feel at ease. I was honoured to be awarded “Most Empathetic Clinician” and “Best with Kids” during my university training, recognitions that reflect how much I value building trust and creating positive experiences for young people.
My Experience
I have babysat for many neighbours and family friends and have experience with ages 1-9. I am happy to help with homework and take kids out to do activities, and also stay in with them in the evening, making dinner and putting them to bed.
Children tend to warm to me quickly, and I take pride in being that friendly, reassuring face they can rely on. I would love to bring that same energy, patience, and care into a family setting, supporting both children’s well-being and their everyday routines in a safe, nurturing way.
