About Me
HI! I am looking for flexible wraparound care for our two kids - a 7-year old girl and 5-year old boy. They are at school in the village. I am a freelance coach and strategy consultant, and my wife is a lawyer. I have to go to London for work on average once a week, and my wife is there most days. I work from home on other days. We are a warm, welcoming, professional family who have had fantastic nannies in the past and are looking for our next partner to support happy, bright kids to thrive.
My Requirements
We're looking for someone bright, sensible and energetic, with lots of initiative, to provide flexible after school and wraparound care for our kids. I am open to different arrangements but could offer at least one fixed afternoon a week (3.15-6.15) - more if preferred - plus a minimum of 5 additional hours a week, often more. Flexibility is a key consideration as our work commitments change and having someone who can stay a bit later or step in at relatively short notice to do the school run for example would be really useful. Availability in school holidays would also be very welcome. We want someone who is interested in kids' development - can help with reading and other learning; involve them in cooking and other tasks; and will spend lots of time outside - no screens! Someone who could do light household duties as well - not cleaning but tidying, cooking, processing washing, receiving deliveries etc - just helping us keep on top of all the spinning plates of life - would also be very helpful.
